Get involved with Philly YIMBY and help us change the politics of housing and zoning in Philadelphia!

At our first meeting we had over 30 attendees and learned about the recent history of zoning reform in Philadelphia from veteran housing advocate Karen Black. We had an initial group discussion about what 5th Square has done so far on housing advocacy, and some of the different advocacy strategies we thought could have an impact going forward.

At our second meeting, we'll continue that discussion and talk about some of our short and long-term committee goals, set general guidelines and goals for Philly YIMBY, and organize a few teams to work on different organizing and advocacy projects.

Whether you enjoy speaking at zoning and City Council meetings, or you prefer more behind-the-scenes work, there are lots of different ways for everyone to contribute. Bring a friend or neighbor!
