The City of Philadelphia, SEPTA, and PennDOT are developing a series of improvements for Roosevelt Boulevard to "create a more inviting corridor that is safe, accessible, and reliable for all users including residents, pedestrians, cyclists, transit users, motorists, and visitors."

They are hosting a series of five public meetings to collect feedback and ideas.

5th Square is asking supporters of complete, safe streets and better bus transit to attend the first meeting (or any of the meetings) and make our voice heard.

There will be strong pressure to water down any changes that slow down speeders, and especially define down what counts as "Bus Rapid Transit" on the Boulevard.

Help us demand the best possible version of the Boulevard. Let us know you're coming, and we'll see you on April 14th.
