5th Square will be hosting monthly general meetings starting this month, on Tuesday, April 17th at 6pm. Anyone is welcome to join!

At this first general meeting we'll be discussing our endorsements for 2018 state legislative races and sharing our recap of OTIS's recent Vision Zero meetings, and a status update on legislation we're monitoring.

We recently formed several new committees that will be convening for the first time at this meeting, and will be in charge of building out different parts of 5th Square's organization: Transportation, YIMBY, Organizing and Elections, Marketing, and Development. 

Some of the topics to be discussed in committee breakout sessions include: activating 5th Square's member base to support endorsed candidates for state leg. and committeeperson seats; potential bus advocacy and Delaware Ave walkability campaigns; a new YIMBY newsletter, and 5th Square's marketing and development plans for the 2018-2019 election cycles.
