Black Lives Matter 

We take this moment to bear witness to the tragic murders of George Floyd and Breonna Taylor, and mourn every Black and Brown life lost due to racist actions and policies.

We, as an organization, can never, ever forget that our work for safer streets, accessible cities, and better public spaces only has meaning when it empowers everyone calling Philadelphia home. We can not forget that police brutality and white supremacy must be defeated for our advocacy to truly bear fruit.

This is also a moment for deep reflection on our mission as an organization. We must scrutinize the blind spots in our advocacy.

As we work to ensure our goals as an organization rise to the level of what this moment requires, we welcome your thoughts about what we can do to make sure our advocacy reaches all Philadelphians.
