🚌 Advocate for a permanent Intercity Bus Terminal in Philly
City Council is holding a public hearing on Tuesday, May 21st at 2PM about the future location of our city's temporary intercity bus terminal.Â
After the Greyhound station was closed in 2023, intercity passengers were left without safe access to shelter, or even basic amenities such as seating and restrooms. This is part of a disappointing national trend where private bus companies abandon permanent terminals for cheaper curbside pickups - leaving riders, especially disabled and low-income travelers, to fend for themselves.Â
We need you to join us and a coalition of disability advocates, safe streets organizers, and neighborhood organizations to push City Council to secure a respectful, accessible, and permanent solution for intercity transit.Â
📢 We need you to show up and speak upÂ
Join us at City Hall on May 21st at 2PM to testify.Â
Sign up in person when entering Council ChambersÂ
Let's make sure Philly's intercity bus riders are treated with dignity - not left standing on the curb!
