Philadelphia City Council just introduced Vision Zero legislation to provide $3.5M annually for safer streets. That's a big deal. This Saturday, come celebrate what marks a significant step forward for the city and its people.
5th Square will host Chris Bruntlett of Vancouver-based transportation consulting firm Modacity. Chris will present an advanced screening of six short films commissioned by Bike Arlington about a healthy, happy form of urban mobility - the bicycle - and the many different people who choose to ride.
You'll also hear from the Bicycle Coalition's Randy LoBasso, who will highlight the Coalition's past accomplishments and share future plans, and from The 5th Square about what we intend to accomplish as well.
There will be plenty of pizza and drinks. A $5 entry fee will help cover the costs of this event.
More information from Modacity about the films we're showing.
See you there!
