🤝 SEPTEMBER MEETUP: MANAYUNK

September 14, 2023 at 6:00pm – 8pm
Join 5th Square organizers and volunteers for an informal, in-person meet-up over at the PHS Pop Up Garden at Manayunk! We will be welcoming folks from SEPTA who will update us on the new Wissahickon Transportation Center.
These meet-ups are casual social gatherings, and are intended as a fun way for new and existing supporters to connect with other people involved with 5th Square and urbanist issues in Philadelphia.
👟 FEET FIRST MINI-GRANT
Feet First Philly’s Public Space Enhancement Mini-grant program is in its fourth year this year. During its first three years, the program has funded 32 public space enhancement projects throughout Philadelphia. Feet First Philly seeks projects that improve walkability by making neighborhoods safer and easier to walk and roll in.
Applications are open now! If you have an idea for a project that could improve the accessibility of your community, you are encouraged to apply. This program is partially funded by the Philadelphia Department of Public Health and grants range from $500 to $2000.
🚲 WASHINGTON SQUARE WEST BIKE DAY
Save the Date - Washington Square West Civic Association Bike Day, Khan Park, September 16th 10am-1pm!
Join the WSWCA and other organizations for a day that celebrates cycling. Stop by Kahn Park to meet and talk with representatives from Vision Zero, Indego, the City Planning Commission, The Bicycle Coalition of Greater Philadelphia, and Philly Bike Action. There will also be opportunities to clan your bike, crafts for kids, and a kid's bike parade!
🚌 BUS REVOLUTION PUBLIC HEARINGS
SEPTA will conduct public hearings regarding changes to the bus network as part of SEPTA Forward: Bus Revolution, the authority's first comprehensive redesign of its entire bus network. The first hearing is TONIGHT at SEPTA HQ - 1234 Market St (Mezzanine Level) on Tuesday, September 12th, starting at 5 PM. Click here for the upcoming hearings schedule.

SEPTA - Public Hearings Related to the Bus Revolution Network Changes
Various times and Locations
Members of the public may attend hearings in-person or join a virtual hearing. These hearings will take place at locations throughout the SEPTA service area during the month of September 2023. All locations will be ADA accessible and along an existing SEPTA bus route.
