🚇 SAVE TRANSIT ACTIONS

As a reminder of what's at stake, due to a funding crisis, SEPTA is planning to slash service by 45%, hike fares, and eliminate 50 bus routes and 5 regional rail lines.

So what else can you do to stop this?

  1. RALLY & LOBBY DAY in Harrisburg, June 4th

Join Transit for All PA for a day of rallying and meeting with state legislators to share our stories and tell them: Pennsylvania deserves transit that moves all of us!
  2. VOLUNTEER with us to talk to riders

Join us as we talk to riders throughout Philly and the surrounding counties and ask them to tell their State Senators & Representatives how much transit means to them and their livelihood.

Transit Forward Philadelphia is also hosting canvassing events in Center City that you can sign up for here.
  3. DONATE to help cover the costs of rider outreach

Every contribution helps our volunteers reach more riders and amplify our message with printed flyers & posters, postcards to elected officials, and transit fare for canvassers.

  4. CONTACT your elected official

🕯️ TOMORROW: RIDE OF SILENCE

Each year, Philadelphia's bicyclists come together to remember and honor those who were killed or injured by motorists with a ride around the city in complete silence.

Join them tomorrow at 6:45 PM at the north apron of City Hall for a brief ceremony followed by a 7-mile slow ride in silence ending at the Art Museum.

🚨 ACTION ITEMS

đźš« Grays Ferry Is Not a Parking Lot

The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is proposing a 1,000-vehicle parking garage at 30th and Grays Ferry Avenue. This garage would be over 70 feet tall, reserved for employees, and would require a separate shuttle service. Sign our petition telling CHOP: Don't Treat Grays Ferry as a Parking Lot

  • The City of Philadelphia is looking to make roadway improvements to Market St, JFK Boulevard, and 20th St. SURVEY LINK

🛣️ Stop I-95 Expansion

PennDOT is planning to expand I-95 in Center City and South Philly by adding lanes and new ramps. This will threaten the well-being of our neighborhoods by worsening air quality, increasing noise pollution, harming our access to the waterfront, and destroying sports facilities. To make matters worse, PennDOT has been deceitful about its engagement efforts.

Join us in telling PennDOT that highway expansion has no place in the core of Philadelphia by signing our petition.
