🚨 SEPTA CUTS ARE COMING
Thanks to Senate Republicans, SEPTA cuts are coming next week.
Transit riders throughout the region will see massive cuts, and even if you're not a SEPTA rider, your commute will get much worse.
But we're not done fighting.
✊ TONIGHT: TRANSIT FUNDING RALLY
Join us tonight at Senator Picozzi's office to demand more transit funding, not less.
Senator Joe Picozzi and his colleagues are trying to pass off massive cuts to transit capital funding--which funds crucial maintenance, accessibility upgrades, and system expansions--as a transit funding solution.
Rally at his office to tell Senate Republicans that Philadelphians will not accept these transit cuts!
Rally for More Transit, Not Less
Senator Joe Picozzi's District Office (12361 Academy Rd)
Tonight, August 19th at 5:30pm
| RSVP FOR THE RALLY |
Can't make the rally? Transit Forward Philly is still hosting many events throughout the upcoming weeks to fight for transit funding.
🪑 THEY TOOK YOUR SEAT, LET'S TAKE THEIRS
Statewide transit cuts are coming thanks to three Republicans in the State Senate.
They're taking away your seat on the bus, so let's take away their seat in Harrisburg.

Two of them will be up for re-election in 2026 and the third will be up in 2028.
You can help replace them with politicians who understand how important SEPTA is for our region.
Support their challengers here!

🚲 Parking-Protected Bike Lane Petition
Parking-protected bike lanes are a great way to make our bikes lanes safer and lower stress, but they are illegal in PA! The Bicycle Coalition is fighting for their legalization. Sign their petition to show your support for safer bike lanes!
🚫 Grays Ferry Is Not a Parking Lot
The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is proposing a 1,000-vehicle parking garage at 30th and Grays Ferry Avenue. This garage would be over 70 feet tall, reserved for employees, and would require a separate shuttle service. Sign our petition telling CHOP: Don't Treat Grays Ferry as a Parking Lot
🛣️ Stop I-95 Expansion
PennDOT is planning to expand I-95 in Center City and South Philly by adding lanes and new ramps. This will threaten the well-being of our neighborhoods by worsening air quality, increasing noise pollution, harming our access to the waterfront, and destroying sports facilities. To make matters worse, PennDOT has been deceitful about its engagement efforts.
Join us in telling PennDOT that highway expansion has no place in the core of Philadelphia by signing our petition.
