2019 City Council Candidates Respond to the 5th Square Issue Questionnaire

Over the past couple of months, 5th Square political action committee sent our 2019 questionnaire to several City Council candidates for consideration for early endorsements who showed promise of aligning with an urbanist vision for a safer, healthier, more walkable Philadelphia with world-class public transit and public spaces for all residents.

Thank you to all of the 2019 Philadelphia City Council candidates who took the time to complete our questionnaire and submitted responses. These additional candidates responses will be considered for endorsement and are listed below our endorsed candidates by Party affiliation.

At this time we have not endorsed any additional candidates. If we can accommodate more candidates, they will be issued on a rolling basis. We appreciate the time and effort put into answering and addressing the important urbanist issues that 5th Square members prioritize. We are so happy to see a race full of qualified candidates promoting urbanist issues who are champions for change in Philadelphia City Council.

Please read the responses from the additional Democratic, Republican and Independent candidates running in the May 21, 2019 primary for Philadelphia City Council seats that we have added below, in addition to our endorsed candidates responses.
