Our process for endorsing Kendra Brooks

We gave our membership the opportunity to review responses to our questionnaire and meet the candidates at our monthly meet-ups.

We conducted a straw poll in early October that had our subscribing membership rank the candidates in order of preference among all the questionnaire respondents .

In this straw poll we saw main consensus around Kendra Brooks who garnered 56% of our membership's first-choice vote and appeared on 86% of all ballots.

A breakdown of first-choice votes and all ballots are in the charts below.

Based on the straw poll results, we held an up-down vote on Kendra Brooks.

She earned the support of 82.7% of folks who voted among our sustaining members, surpassing our endorsement threshold of 75%.

We want to thank all the candidates for their response to our questionnaire. Picking endorsements is never easy and the candidates in this election cycle really reflect the immense progress towards our urbanist issues since our founding in 2014.
