South Philly being South Philly, blowback from residents who rely on the rarely enforced, basically free parking has been strong, 5th Square co-founder and neighborhood resident Jake Leifer told the site: “We’ve also received some pushback from a handful of individuals and the amount of that pushback was significant. It included death threats to myself and my family.”
