Did you help organize a Neighborhood Slow Zone application in your neighborhood?

Come celebrate with other neighborhood volunteers and slow zone advocates at a Friday happy hour at Le Viet, on 11th St near Washington Ave. 

The City is selecting two neighborhoods to pilot Neighborhood Slow Zones this year, and the deadline to submit applications is on January 18th.

5th Square volunteers have been helping several neighborhoods with organizing support for their applications (see our Resources page: https://www.5thsq.org/neighborhood_slow_zone_campaign_resources), so we're hosting a happy hour on January 18th to celebrate with people who worked on Slow Zones in their neighborhoods, and connect with more Slow Zone supporters from around the city.

The happy hour is at Le Viet (1019 S 11th St) starting at 5:30 pm and going until 7. Specials include $1 off beers, some $5 wines and some $5 cocktails, along with appetizer specials for $3-4.
